Privacy Policy

• Account: your email address, used to sign in and secure your data.
• Your content: your business name, link, status, notes, contact details, hours, and status history you add.
• Subscription status: if you buy Gone For Lunch Pro, our payments provider (RevenueCat + Google Play) tells us whether your subscription is active. We never see your card or bank numbers.
• Basic diagnostics: crash and error logs, and an anonymous view counter on your public page.

Anything you choose to show on your public status page — your business name, current status, note, phone, address, website, and hours — is intentionally visible to anyone who has your link or scans your QR code. Only publish details you’re comfortable sharing with your customers. You can hide your page anytime by turning off Published in the app.

To provide the app: store your business and status, render your public page, count page views, and unlock Pro features for subscribers. That’s it — no advertising, no data brokers. Visitors to your page are counted anonymously. If a customer chooses to opt in to “notify me when you open,” we store only their email address to send that single notification, and never use it for anything else.

Your data is stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) and protected by row-level security, so only your account can edit your businesses and statuses. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share data only with the service providers that run the app (hosting, subscription management) under agreements that limit them to serving you.

You can edit or unpublish your page at any time. You can permanently delete your entire account and all associated data from Account → Delete account in the app, which removes your records from our systems.
